Way To The Stage Talent Show Rules
The WAY TO THE STAGE TALENT SHOW gives Wisconsin's youth the opportunity to hone their skills on stage before an audience and before a panel of professional judges. One winner in each category (one YOUTH, one TEEN) will go on to compete at the Wisconsin State Fair for a chance to win as much as $3,000.
Contestants present a 3-minute or less DANCE, VOCAL, INSTRUMENTAL or VARIETY act during the Outagamie County Fair.
Performers will be judged on SKILL and TECHNICAL ABILITY, STAGE PRESSENCE, AUDIENCE APPEAL, ORIGINALIGY and OVERALL PERFORMANCE.
Acts going over 3-minutes will be docked as befitting the judges. Acts going over the 3-minute time limit by 30 seconds may be disqualified.
Participants wishing to perform as a group (dance troupes for example), or that require an accompanist, should contact Frank Hermans prior to completing their entry form at email@example.com or by calling (920) 371-4070.
No bands, please. This is not a battle of the bands competition.
Participants are divided into two divisions.
Youth Division (age 2 – 12) and Teen Division (age 13 – 12)
Prizes will be awarded to the top three performers in each division.
*This contest is open to all Wisconsin residents within competition age
