Name of beer reviewing: Hinterland Door County Cherry Wheat

Type of beer: American wheat beer

ABV: 5.4 percent

Pre-tasting: Poured out of the tap at Hinterland Brewing Company by Isaac, a knowledgeable bartender who is highly recommended, the Door County Cherry Wheat greets you with a light pink frothy head and a foggy maroon body that's pink on the sides.

A dark red portrait of a forest with a silver lining around the packaging gives the beer a mystifying moonlight feel.

Post-tasting: Spice from the wheat beer, which is caused by a Belgian style brew, is prominent on the taste buds with a heavy tart cherry base. When the Door County Cherry Wheat settles it has a fruity taste that is as close to tropical as the Tundra gets.

You'll like this beer if: You will love this beer if you plan to spend a day at the beach or out on the water. Door County Cherry Wheat is a beer to help remind us to relax, kick back and watch the sunset on the bay.

You'll dislike this beer if: You would dislike this beer if you had this beer religiously during summer so that the taste reminds you of fun in the sun, barbequing, boating, bonfires, camping, while looking outside reminds you that it is 30 below zero and your garage won't open.

Rating: 8.5/10
